Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking an experienced MEP Coordinator to manage and ensure the coordination of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience and strong grasp of engineering concepts, focusing on construction support for our projects in New Jersey.

The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to identify and resolve issues effectively. A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an MEP coordinator, preferably within DPR’s core markets.
• Strong grasp of mechanical and electrical engineering concepts.
• Good understanding of fire/life safety and fire sprinkler systems.
• Excellent listening, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to identify and resolve complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety and fire sprinkler scopes.
• Manage owner-architect interface for MEP systems.
• Assist in developing full commissioning plans for all MEP systems.
• Provide construction support for MEP systems.
