Job summary

W3Global is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee field operations for civil/MEP projects in California. The role emphasizes leadership, safety, and on-site management of trade crews, crews, and subcontractors.

The successful candidate will coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and inspectors; manage budgets, schedules, and quality; and mentor junior team members while ensuring project milestones are met.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of planning and scheduling.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel).
• Ability to read and understand technical specifications, blueprints, and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating work with project owner representatives, architects, engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors; directing the work of all trades on site.
• Scheduling the work activities of tradespeople and laborers; delivering instructions via project staff.
• Conducting preconstruction meetings with all subcontractors before each phase of work.
• Planning manpower and personnel needs onsite; leading toolbox talks.
• Managing safety, quality, risk, and compliance for the project and team members.
