Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking an Electrical Commissioning Tech for a growing data center division. responsibilities include commissioning electrical systems such as PDUs, RPPs, UPSs, and switchgear in large facilities.

The ideal candidate has experience with low to medium voltage electrical work and a strong background in data center environments. Role is Dallas-based with extensive travel up to 70%; employer covers travel expenses and provides full benefits and relocation if needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning of electrical systems in data centers (PDUs, RPPs, UPSs, switchgear).
• Coordinate on-site with project teams and vendors to ensure quality and safety.
• Assist with travel logistics and documentation for commissioning activities.

Job description

An established MEP design and construction firm is growing their data center division and is in search of an Electrical Commissioning Tech. This person should have experience low to medium voltage electrical and commissioning work. The right candidate with have an electrical background and experience commissioning electrical systems in data centers such as PDUs, RPPs, UPSs, and Switchgear is a big plus. Experience with mechanical systems in data centers such as HVAC systems and chillers is a plus as well.

The right candidate can expect a base salary in the 120k - 140k range.

The role is based in Dallas but the role will spend the majority of time on the job and can expect travel up to 70%. All travel related expenses are covered by employer.
