Job summary

ERDMAN, located in Middleton, Wisconsin, is seeking a BIM/CAD Revit Technician MEP to produce construction documents for MEP systems. This role will involve focusing on plumbing, electrical, or mechanical disciplines while coordinating with the engineering department.

The ideal candidate will have an associate’s degree and 1-3 years of experience in BIM/engineering design. Proficiency in Revit MEP and AutoCAD is essential. Flexibility is required to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of BIM/engineering design experience.
• Understanding of building codes and design processes.
• Ability to visualize architectural and MEP elements for proper detailing & coordination.
• Possess an understanding of drawing and modeling organization, detail, and precision.
• Demonstrated knowledge of or interest in MEP systems and their installation.

Responsibilities

• Produces construction documents for mechanical, electrical & plumbing systems.
• Applies design practices for detailed building modeling.
• Maintains Revit templates and builds Revit families.
• Coordinates work sharing within the team.
