Job summary

Jewish Child Care Association (JCCA) seeks a Program Coordinator to lead the Arches Mentoring Program for young adults on probation. You will recruit, supervise mentors, coordinate referrals, and ensure program quality in partnership with Probation and community stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is organized, energetic, and passionate about youth development, with experience engaging youth facing complex needs and a track record of program improvement and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with five years of relevant program experience.
• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or comparable degree preferred.
• Proven ability to work creatively with challenging youth or young adults.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organization skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with youth, mentors, families, and community partners.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise mentors for the Arches program.
• Provide ongoing coaching and professional development to mentors.
• Provide 24/7 program support and emergency response as needed.
• Complete required Interactive Journaling training and other program trainings.
• Ensure high-quality implementation of the Arches journaling curriculum.
• Coordinate referrals and schedule orientations for new participants.
• Provide weekly supervision to mentors and monitor participant progress.
• Maintain participant records per JCCA and Probation standards.
• Collect and report program data and outcomes as required.
