Job summary

Bank of America’s Merrill Advisor Development Program seeks a Financial Advisor to build a client book, identify needs, and deliver comprehensive recommendations. You will work with Merrill Financial Advisor Teams to grow portfolios while developing your advisory skills and meeting performance goals.

The role emphasizes sourcing clients through referrals and networking, delivering end-to-end financial guidance, and collaborating with core banking and investment partners to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• Holds Series 7 and 66 licenses (63/65 in lieu).
• Minimum 1 year in financial services or sales with goals met.
• Minimum 1 year in investments industry with product knowledge.
• Proven ability to engage with and influence others.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound inquiries regarding Merrill offerings and position Merrill/Bank of America capabilities.
• Collect client profile data and perform KYC to open accounts as appropriate.
• Act as interim Financial Advisor, recommending suitable investment products and servicing accounts.
• Document client interactions and opportunities in Salesforce.
• Collaborate with Merrill Financial Advisor Teams to grow portfolios.
