Job summary

Facility Solutions Group, Inc. is seeking an Apprentice Electrician to join the Harlingen, TX team. You will work under Journeyman supervision on commercial electrical systems, with the goal of progressing in the trade.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a current State Apprentice Electrician license, and a valid driver’s license. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential, and prior lighting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installation, alteration, addition and repair of electrical systems on commercial sites.
• Gather tools, materials and assist in wiring, conduit, and motors under supervision.
• Trace short circuits and help secure and organize materials on site.
• Maintain and clean work areas, tools and equipment.
• Assist more senior electricians with installations, connections and terminations.
• Ensure safety by not working on energized circuits without supervision.
