Responsibilities

• Collaborate with building administration to build onboarding and mentoring for new hires.
• Check in routinely with new hires and support acclimation.
• Cultivate strong professional relationships within the paraprofessional team.
• Maintain consistent communication with the team.
• Provide job shadowing, training, and instructional support.
• Deliver building-specific training for new staff with the administrative team.
• Serve as a positive role model for the team and broader community.
• Meet regularly with building administration to discuss staffing needs and onboarding improvements.
• Supervise students in classrooms and non-classroom settings.
• Promote and model positive behavior using de-escalation strategies.
