• Develops nursing care plans by examining patients and documenting their condition.
• Teaches patients and families about condition, medications, and self-care skills.
• Evaluates care by adhering to standards and re-evaluating care objectives.
• Maintains infection-control policies, medication safety and a secure patient environment.
• Documents patient care in patient and department records.
• Keeps patient care supplies ready and stock levels adequate.
• Supports nursing mentorship and training as outlined by leadership.
