Job summary

Waverly Health Center is seeking a registered nurse for the Nashua Clinic. This 0.8 FTE role covers 8a-4:30p, four days per week, in Nashua, IA. The RN delivers evidence-based nursing care under physician supervision and supports the clinic team.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, triage, patient teaching, and EMR documentation, with emphasis on confidentiality and quality outcomes. Iowa RN license is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current Iowa RN license.
• Clinic setting experience preferred.
• Ability to learn and navigate computer systems.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Maintain patients' electronic records with confidentiality and accuracy.
• Provide direct and indirect nursing care; assist with exams and procedures.
• Triage calls, assess symptoms, and schedule provider visits as needed.
• Educate patients and families; adapt teaching to language and comprehension.
• Mentor and support clinic nursing staff; promote safe, quality care.
• Manage equipment and supplies; ensure proper restocking and safety.
