Job summary

Waverly Health Center is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (0.60 FTE) to deliver evidence-based care in its clinic setting. Under provider supervision, you will perform direct patient care, triage calls, and ensure accurate EMR documentation while maintaining patient confidentiality.

You will mentor other clinic staff, support teaching for patients and families, and engage in QA and safety practices, with emphasis on relationship-based care and adherence to Iowa Nursing Practice Act and ANA

Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in Iowa.
• Experience in a clinic setting preferred.
• Fluent in English and able to read, speak and write clearly.

Responsibilities

• Document care in EMR accurately and confidentially.
• Provide direct patient care and assist with exams/procedures as needed.
• Triages patient calls and schedule visits per protocols.
• Communicate with providers and care team about patient changes.
• Mentor and support other clinic nursing staff.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and safety standards.
