The Research Foundation of The City University of New York (RFCUNY) invites applications for a part-time mentor role at LaGuardia. You will assist faculty in designing, creating and maintaining technology-enhanced classroom resources, including PowerPoint, Dreamweaver pages, Blackboard and WordPress courses, and ePortfolios.

You will mentor students through the ePortfolio studio hours, provide one-on-one training on technology tools, troubleshoot issues, create tutorials, and support surveys.

Qualifications

  • Must be a current LaGuardia student through Spring 2026.
  • Have completed a minimum of 9 credits with a 3.0 GPA or higher.
  • Must demonstrate proof of technology skills or knowledge of Windows and MS Office, ePortfolios, HTML/CSS.

Responsibilities

  • Assist faculty in designing and maintaining technology-enhanced classroom resources.
  • Mentor students in developing ePortfolios during studio hours and workshops.
  • Provide one-on-one training on technology tools and solve problems/questions.
  • Create learning tutorials and assist with technology-related surveys and research.
  • Stay current with new tools and share knowledge with instructors and students.
