Job summary

CONCERN is a non-profit human services organization serving Towanda, PA, seeking a Part-time or Full-time Mental Health Worker to support children and families. Under the Mental Health Professional, you will conduct client observations, deliver school/home/community sessions, and coordinate care with school staff while maintaining confidentiality and licensing standards.

The role offers weekday hours during the school year (8am–3:30pm) with summer schedules, and a starting wage of $17.00 per

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with major coursework in Sociology, Social Work, Psychology, Gerontology, Anthropology, Political Science, History, Criminal Justice, Theology, Nursing, Counseling, Education, or related field.
• OR Associate's degree or at least 12 semester credit hours in Sociology, Social Welfare, Psychology, Gerontology, or other social science with 1 year of behavioral/mental health experience.
• OR High School Diploma or Equivalent with 2 years of experience in a behavioral/mental health field.

Responsibilities

• Observe clients, implement individualized treatment interventions, and administer appropriate case management when necessary.
• Provide group and family sessions in the school, home, and community under the direction of the Mental Health Professional and participate in treatment team meetings.
• Coordinate care with other service systems and assist with in-service training and liaison activities with school staff.
• Record client data, track progress on treatment objectives, and complete required chart documentation and quarterly chart audits as assigned by your supervisor.
• Meet with the MHP for staff meetings and supervision as required.
• Maintain professional confidentiality and uphold regulatory licensing requirements of the position.
• Attend training courses per program requirements.
