About This Unit

The emergency department provides care to all populations from newborn to geriatric. Specialty services include Level 2 trauma center, Center of excellence for heart, vascular, and stroke. The unit has 57 beds and averages 200 visits per day. We offer comprehensive orientation, including an EC-focused immersion program.

About Taylor Hospital

A Magnet-designated hospital serving the area since 1977, offering services like 24-hour emergency care, wound care, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, orthopedic surgery, and advanced radiology.

Scope of Work

Assist licensed nursing staff in providing direct patient care and maintaining the environment of the nursing unit under supervision, within your scope of practice.

Qualifications

• Completion of Mental Health Certificate, 2 years college in Behavioral Science, or 4 years relevant work experience; Bachelor's preferred.
