Qualifications

• High school diploma with college-level training in behavioral science.
• One to three months of experience to acquire a fundamental knowledge of psycho-social problems and appropriate response.
• Acquire suitable interpersonal skills and knowledge of department policies.

Responsibilities

• Participate in group therapy sessions, discharge planning and crisis intervention.
• Monitor daily activities of patients and observe emotional conditions.
• Record observations of patient progress and behavior during treatment activities.
• Attend to the personal needs of patients including grooming and hygiene.
• Contribute to discharge planning by assessing patient strengths and needs.
