Job summary

Nulton Diagnostic and Treatment Center in Bedford, PA is seeking a Mental Health Worker to join the Child and Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program. You will work with a classroom team to monitor behaviors and support students' emotional and behavioral health as outlined in treatment plans.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a social service or education field and at least one year of experience with children and families; Act 33/34 and FBI clearances are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a social service or education field.
• At least 1 year of experience working with children and families.
• Experience with children/adolescents in a mental health capacity preferred.
• Must be able to obtain Act 33, Act 34 and FBI clearances.

Responsibilities

• Monitor classroom behaviors and support emotional and behavioral health per treatment plans.
• Provide direct therapeutic group activities and treatment, and crisis interventions.
• Supervise students directly and participate in treatment planning and documentation.

Position Description:

We are looking for a Mental Health Worker to join our Team!

Nulton Diagnostic and Treatment Center is accepting resumes for a Mental Health Worker (MHW) for the Child and Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program in Bedford, PA.

Responsibilities include working alongside the teacher and other MHWs or MHPs in the classroom as part of a cohesive team. The successful candidate would be responsible for monitoring behaviors in the classroom, while providing support for the emotional and behavioral health needs of students, as established in their treatment plans. The essential duties include direct supervision of the students, treatment planning and documentation, providing direct therapeutic group activities/treatment and crisis interventions. The applicant should possess a desire to work with children having academic and behavioral health challenges with the assurance of having support from a dedicated, therapeutic team.

The position requires a bachelor's degree in a social service or education field and at least one year of experience working with children and families. Previous experience working with children/adolescents in a mental health capacity is preferred.

Must be able to obtain Act 33, Act 34 and FBI clearances.
