Job summary

Drsecurityok in North Platte, NE is seeking a Transport Driver to safely move clients to required care services within and outside the contracted area. You will be a key in-person representative, delivering courteous service to facility staff, clients and family members in a mental health setting.

You must maintain logs, drive efficiently, follow schedules, and cooperate with dispatch, supervisors and operations leadership to improve transport times and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 26 years or older.
• Excellent driving record.
• Valid driver's license.
• Proficient in English (oral and written).
• Tech-savvy, good typing skills, and data entry experience.
• Ability to work nights, weekends with flexible hours.
• Ability to operate in highly stressful situations.
• Ability to multi-task and interpret ongoing problems.

Responsibilities

• Long- and short-distance driving, coordinating routes with dispatchers.
• Retrieve and secure clients and belongings for trips.
• Maintain detailed logs of hours and submit monthly.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, and violations promptly.
• Perform daily vehicle maintenance and upkeep.
• Interact professionally with facility staff, clients, and families.
• Collaborate with Dispatcher and Field Supervisor to resolve issues.
• Enter data into Samsara and maintain transport logs.
• Coordinate with leadership to update facility contacts.
• Strive to reduce transport arrival times and report overages.
