Job summary

A mental health care provider is looking for a Mental Health Professional to deliver individual and group counseling services to clients in substance use disorder treatment. Responsibilities include facilitating therapy sessions, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in a relevant field, relevant licensure, and experience in behavioral health, as well as a passion for assisting justice-involved and homeless populations. This is an on-site position located in Minnesota.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance for travel between sites.
• 1–3 years of experience in behavioral health, mental health, or SUD treatment is preferred.
• Experience providing individual and group therapy in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and co-facilitate mental health groups for individuals.
• Provide one-on-one counseling to individuals in treatment.
• Maintain organized clinical documentation and attend all required meetings.

Skills

Understanding of substance use disorders

Proficiency in evidence-based therapies

Knowledge of legal and ethical standards

Strong communication skills

Education

Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or behavioral health
