Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling.
• Active NYSED license (LMSW/LMHC/LMFT/LCAT) or Limited Permit with licensure within 12 months.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in substance use or mental health treatment.
• Strong knowledge of substance use disorders and mental health principles.
• Strong communication and collaboration in multidisciplinary teams.
• Unwavering commitment to client confidentiality and professional ethics.

Responsibilities

• Assess and develop individualized care plans.
• Conduct bio-psychosocial assessments and mental status exams.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group counseling.
• Monitor client progress and provide crisis intervention when required.
• Document accurately in clinical records.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team.
• Link clients to essential community resources.
• Engage clients and families to refine treatment goals.
