Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum education includes a Bachelor's degree in psychology or human services or related field; a Master's is preferred.
• CPR certification (AHA) required or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with psychiatric populations; experience with substance use/addiction is a plus.
• Knowledge of managed care and public insurances (Medicare/Medicaid) is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy to meet patient needs.
• Gathers and evaluates information from patient interviews and sources.
• Develops care plans and coordinates with outpatient providers.
• Documents responses to interventions and follows PHP policies.
• Performs ongoing assessment and education, including discharge planning and follow-up.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Psychology or Human Services or related field
