Job summary

A leading telehealth provider is seeking licensed Mental Health Therapists to join their team on a 1099 contract basis. Job Summary

We are currently seeking licensed therapists in one of the following states: California, Texas, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Missouri, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Maryland, Kentucky, Minnesota, Arkansas, Indiana, Utah, West Virginia, Nevada, Kansas, New Mexico, Iowa, Nebraska, New Hampshire, Delaware, Hawaii, or District of Columbia (LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC) to provide virtual mental health services on a 1099 contract basis.

Key Responsibilities (as an Independent Contractor)

• Deliver individual therapy sessions virtually (via secure video and phone), focusing on adolescent and adult populations.
• Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans using evidence‑based therapeutic approaches.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with applicable legal and ethical standards.
• Coordinate with Teladoc’s support teams as needed to facilitate client care and resolve technical issues.
• Exercise independent clinical judgment to manage client care in a remote setting.

Requirements

• Experience providing therapy in an unsupervised, independent practice setting.
• Active license (LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC) in at least one of the following states: California, Texas, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Missouri, Mississippi, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Maryland, Kentucky, Minnesota, Arkansas, Indiana, Utah, West Virginia, Nevada, Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska, New Hampshire, Delaware, Hawaii, or District of Columbia with eligibility to treat patients independently.
• Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Experience working with clients managing PTSD, depression, anxiety, or trauma‑related conditions.
• Strong clinical skills and ability to operate autonomously in a telehealth environment.
• Proficient in using EHR systems and telehealth platforms.
