Job Title: Mental Health Therapist

Salary Range: $76,290 - $89,260 / Annually

In our organization, these professionals are positioned as Mental Health Therapists, responsible for planning and providing non-medical clinical mental health services within our facilities.

The successful candidate should be able to perform all of the following functions at a performance level consistent with job requirements:

1. Conduct mental health screenings and assessments based on available records and clinical interviews with inmates.
2. Develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans based on evaluations of needs and levels of functioning.
3. Document treatment and evaluation activities in the healthcare records for each individual.
4. Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive materials and information at all times.
5. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of psychological counseling theories and techniques through treatments and activities used for caseload individuals.
6. Provide appropriate mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis interventions to address inmate needs.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related clinical field.
• Five (5) years of clinical experience, including two (2) years in a comparable position.
• Possess appropriate OH LPCC or LISW certification or licensure.
• A valid driver’s license is preferred unless required by contract or law.
• Minimum age requirement: at least 18 years old.
