About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Therapist licensed in the state of Illinois to join our growing team. This is a part-time, fully remote, contract position where you'll be able to maintain a flexible schedule and set the hours that work for you. As a remote therapist, you will provide virtual therapy services to clients, helping them navigate their mental health journeys. You will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care and making a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.

What You'll Do

• Provide individual counseling and support services to clients via secure videoconferencing on our telehealth platform.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments, monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to address a variety of mental health conditions.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with company policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for clients.
• Foster a supportive and trusting therapeutic relationship with clients through effective communication and empathy.
• Educate clients about mental health issues, coping strategies, and self-care practices.
• Encourage active participation in treatment goals and empower clients to take ownership of their mental health journey.

What You'll Have

• An active, independent, and unrestricted LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, Clinical Psychologist or equivalent license in Illinois.
• A background in providing mental health services through telehealth platforms.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience providing therapy services.
• Continually maintain CEUs for licensing, certificates, or credentialing.
• Active NPI number, Medicare number preferred.
• Eligible to participate in federally funded healthcare programs, as required by the Office of Inspector General (OIG).
• Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Ability to work remotely in a private, HIPAA-compliant space in your home or office to welcome clients virtually.
• Must have reliable, high-speed internet and familiarity with teleconferencing tools (e.g., Zoom).
• Technology savvy and excited about how technology can improve medical care.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, grammar, attention to detail, and efficient at writing medical information at a patient level.
• Be pleasant, responsive, and willing to collaborate with our team.
