Job summary

Project Chesapeake is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Therapist to join our outpatient team in Westminster, MD. The role handles a clinical caseload, completes assessments, treatment plans, and notes, and collaborates with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality client care.

Qualified candidates hold an active MD license (LMSW/LGPC/LCSW-C/LCPC) and experience with EMR systems, documentation, and compliance with DHMH/CARF requirements.

Qualifications

• Active LMSW, LGPC, LCSW-C or LCPC license in MD.
• Experience with an EMR system.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Familiarity with DHMH / CARF requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a mental health caseload.
• Complete assessments, treatment plans, individual notes, group notes, and other clinical documentation under supervision.
• Participate in a multidisciplinary team to ensure client care and treatment.
• Attend trainings and maintain licensure requirements.

Project Chesapeake provides quality addiction treatment, behavioral health therapy, & treatment for individuals with a dual diagnosis. We are seeking a highly motivated, reliable, & experienced Mental Health Therapist to join our team in an Outpatient setting! Our mission is to provide an opportunity for individuals to learn how to live a positive, sober lifestyle while empowering them to make changes that will lead to successful, independent living.

Hours:

• Full time
• Monday - Thursday from 9:00am - 5:00pm
• Friday from 9:00am - 3:00pm

Responsibilities include:

• Maintain a mental health caseload.
• Complete assessments, treatment plans, individual notes, group notes, & other clinical documentation under the supervision of an LCSW-C.
• Take part in a multi-disciplinary team to maintain excellent client care & treatment.
• Attain occasional trainings & maintain licensure requirements.

Qualifications include:

• Active LMSW, LGPC, LCSW-C or LCPC license in the State of Maryland.
• Computer literate & experience working in an EMR (Electronic Medical Records) system.
• Possess sound judgement, professionalism, & compassion for client care.
• Excellent documentation & communication skills.
• Familiarity with DHMH / CARF requirements.

• $62,500/yr. - $72,000/yr.
