Job summary

Project Chesapeake in Maryland seeks a motivated Mental Health Therapist for outpatient services in Elkton. This full-time role runs Monday–Thursday 9:00am–5:00pm and Friday 9:00am–3:00pm, with a focus on quality addiction treatment and behavioral health care.

You will maintain a mental health caseload, complete assessments and treatment plans under supervision, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team while pursuing licensure trainings and staying compliant with DHMH/CARF requirements.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland license: LMSW/LGPC/LCSW-C or LCPC.
• Proficient in using an EMR system.
• Strong judgment, professionalism, and compassion for client care.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Familiar with DHMH / CARF requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a mental health caseload.

Project Chesapeake provides quality addiction treatment, behavioral health therapy, & treatment for individuals with a dual diagnosis. We are seeking a highly motivated, reliable, & experienced Mental Health Therapist to join our team in an Outpatient setting! Hours:

• Full time
• Monday - Thursday from 9:00am - 5:00pm
• Friday from 9:00am - 3:00pm

Responsibilities include:

• Maintain a mental health caseload.
• Complete assessments, treatment plans, individual notes, group notes, & other clinical documentation under the supervision of an LCSW-C.
• Take part in a multi-disciplinary team to maintain excellent client care & treatment.
• Attain occasional trainings & maintain licensure requirements.

Qualifications include:

• Active LMSW, LGPC, LCSW-C or LCPC license in the State of Maryland.
• Computer literate & experience working in an EMR (Electronic Medical Records) system.
• Possess sound judgement, professionalism, & compassion for client care.
• Excellent documentation & communication skills.
• Familiarity with DHMH / CARF requirements.
