Job summary

Chestnut Ridge Counseling Services, Inc. (CRCSI) is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Therapist to provide group therapy and behavioral interventions at our New Directions program in Uniontown, PA.

Position: Full-Time Group Therapist (Mental Health Therapist) located at New Directions K-12 Private Academic School & Child Partial Hospitalization Program, 125 Chaffee Street Uniontown, PA 15401. You will lead engaging sessions with children and collaborate with educators and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in the human service field.
• One plus year mental health experience preferred.
• PA State Criminal, Child Abuse Certification, and FBI Clearances.

Responsibilities

• Lead Engaging Group Therapy: Deliver impactful sessions that promote emotional growth and resilience.
• Behavior Management: Implement individualized strategies to help children regulate emotions and behaviors in the classroom.
• Symptom Reduction: Work toward alleviating mental health symptoms to improve functioning at home, school, and in the community.
• Collaborative Care: Partner with educators, families, and treatment teams to support each child’s success.

• Educational Support: Operate a PA Department of Education Licensed Private Academic School serving K-12 students.
