Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in the human service field.
• One or more years of mental health experience preferred.
• PA State Criminal, Child Abuse Certification, and FBI Clearances.

(CRCSI) is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Therapist to provide group therapy and behavioral interventions at our New Directions program.

What You’ll Do

• Lead Engaging Group Therapy: Deliver impactful sessions that promote emotional growth and resilience.
• Behavior Management: Implement individualized strategies to help children regulate emotions and behaviors in the classroom.
• Symptom Reduction: Work toward alleviating mental health symptoms to improve functioning at home, school, and in the community.
• Collaborative Care: Partner with educators, families, and treatment teams to support each child’s success.

Program Goals

• Therapeutic Environment: Provide mental health treatment alongside academic support.
• Preventive Care: Reduce the need for inpatient psychiatric hospitalization or residential treatment.
• Step-Down Services: Help children transition smoothly from higher levels of care.
• Educational Support: Operate a PA Department of Education Licensed Private Academic School serving K-12 students.
