Job summary

ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions in Ohio is seeking a licensed or eligible social worker/counselor to provide patient visits and develop effective treatment plans for diverse clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and those with trauma. The role requires travel within the assigned service area and working with a multidisciplinary team.

Full-time employment includes benefits such as medical/dental/vision, 401k, paid time off, licensure supervision, and continuing education

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field with 1 year therapy experience, or a Master's in Social Work or Counseling.
• Licensed professional credentials (LSW/LISW/LISW-S, LPC, LPCC, LPCC-S, LMFT, LIMFT, LIMFT-S) are required or pursued.
• Experience in therapy and in-home settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient visits as scheduled.
• Keep treatment plans up to date for each client.
• Complete comprehensive progress notes succinctly.
• Communicate and follow up regarding client status.
• Collaborate with case management and psychiatric services.

Our clients are supported by a team of mental health counselors, social workers, certified nurse practitioners, case managers and psychiatrists to ensure the best outcomes for those we serve.

Responsibilities may include:

• Providing patient visits as scheduled.
• Ensuring treatment plans are up to date for each client.
• Completing comprehensive and succinct progress notes.
• Communicating and following up as needed regarding the client's status.
• Working collaboratively with those providing case management and/or psychiatric services.

Requirements for this position include:

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field with one year of therapy experience or a Master's degree in Social Work or Professional Counseling.
• Social Work/Professional Counseling License or equivalent: LSW, LISW, LISW-S, LPC, LPCC, LPCC-S, LMFT, LIMFT, LIMFT-S
• Experience in therapy and counseling is preferred.
• Experience within a home setting is preferred.
• Valid driver's license, car insurance and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel throughout assigned service area.
