Job summary
Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, WA is seeking a Mental Health Technician to provide personal care services and general therapeutic procedures to hospitalized psychiatric patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse or licensed staff.
The role requires either an Associate's Degree in Psychology with a Nursing Assistant Registered license or 2 years of relevant mental health/psychiatric nursing assistant experience, plus Nursing Assistant Certification upon hire.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Psychology with a Nursing Assistant Registered license or 2 years experience as Mental Health Technician, Nursing Assistant in Psychiatric Services, Emergency Services or long-term care.
- Upon hire: Nursing Assistant Certification.
