Job summary

Tenor Health Foundation in Scranton, PA, is seeking a Mental Health Technician to support the treatment team and help implement patient care plans.

Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/LPN, you will assist with hygiene, feeding, bathing, bed making, ambulation and elimination, in a therapeutic mental health setting. A High School diploma and CPR certification are required; 1+ year of relevant patient care is preferred. Prior geriatric experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Minimum one-year of experience in patient care in a therapeutic mental health setting is preferred.
• 3-6 months experience with direct care of the elderly, preferred.
