Qualifications

• Demonstrate basic knowledge of emotional and mental health and disease concepts including the disease of addiction.
• Experience may be accepted in lieu of college course work.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates group activities tailored to the appropriate topic and age.
• Ensures patients are monitored in the proper location during activities.
• Provides appropriate crisis intervention by anticipating and responding to escalating behaviors.
