Qualifications

• Must demonstrate knowledge of emotional and mental health and disease concepts, including addiction.
• Experience may be accepted in lieu of college coursework.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates group activities tailored to appropriate topics and age levels.
• Monitors patients in the proper location during activities.
• Provides appropriate crisis intervention using de-escalation techniques.

Skills

Basic knowledge of emotional and mental health concepts
