Our Mental Health Technician responsibilities include some of the following:
Qualifications for the Mental Health Technician should include the following:
Education: High School Degree or equivalent is required. It is preferred to have educational or work experience in psychology, human service, nursing, or social work environments.
Experience: At least one (1) year of related experience in an assisted living, residential, or hospital setting. Psychiatric experience preferred or (1) year experience as a Corpsman in the Military.
Schedule: If working full time, must be able to work a rotation of 4 days on/2 days off.
Physical: Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, lift, push and pull to perform restraints.
Minimum Age: Must be at least 21 years of age.
