Perimeter Behavioral of West Memphis, Arkansas, has an immediate opening for a Mental Health Technician/Youth Care Worker! This shift is from 7p-7a.

Responsibilities include:

1. Care for patients daily by assessing behavior, escorting them, and interacting with them throughout the shift.
2. Conduct direct observation rounds and document patient behavior.
3. Model and teach appropriate life skills to patients.
4. Orient patients to the unit and assist with daily living skills.
5. Provide a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment.
6. Provide physical restraint or intervention if necessary (training provided).

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Degree or equivalent; experience in psychology, human services, nursing, or social work preferred.
• Experience: At least 1 year in assisted living, residential, or hospital setting; psychiatric experience or military corpsman experience preferred.
• Schedule: Must be able to work a rotation of 4 days on/2 days off.
• Physical requirements: Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, lift, push, and pull for restraints.
• Minimum age: 21 years old.
