A leading facility for addiction recovery in Illinois is seeking dedicated multidisciplinary team members to assist in providing care for patients in a supportive environment. Candidates should possess a CADC certification and be experienced in chemical dependency, offering monitoring, counseling, and therapeutic support as per treatment guidelines.
The New Choice Center for Addiction Recovery offers a 28-day, intensive, individualized hospital program for addiction treatment and detoxification. Medical detoxification is supervised by our professional staff to help manage the acute physical symptoms of substance withdrawal in a secure environment.
Participants engage in individual and family sessions with case management, along with direct consultations with our team of addiction specialists. JOB SUMMARY:
Serves as a member of a multidisciplinary team. Assists in managing the unit under the leadership of the Program Coordinator and Director of Social Services. Implements programming for individuals and groups of patients. Shares responsibility for understanding verbal and non-verbal communications among staff and patients. Acts as a role model, including therapeutic use of authority, confrontation, limit setting, and emotional support. Also responsible for all documentation related to the New Choice program.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Education: Current CADC certification required; Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or a related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in chemical dependency, education, and group facilitation preferred.
