A leading addiction recovery center is seeking a dedicated team member to assist in managing patient care within a multidisciplinary team. The role involves establishing therapeutic relationships, implementing patient interventions, and maintaining documentation. Ideal candidates will have a background in human services and experience in chemical dependency, contributing to a supportive recovery environment.
The New Choice Center for Addiction Recovery offers a 28-day, intensive, individualized hospital program for addiction treatment and detoxification. Medical detoxification is supervised by our professional staff to help manage the acute physical symptoms of substance withdrawal in a secure environment.
Participants will also engage in individual and family sessions with case management, as well as direct consultations with our team of addiction specialists. Medical detoxification is supervised by our professional staff to help manage the physical symptoms of withdrawal in a secure environment.
Serves as a member of a multidisciplinary team. Assists in managing the unit under the leadership of the Program Coordinator and Director of Social Services. Implements programming for individuals and groups of patients. Shares responsibility for understanding verbal and non-verbal communication among staff and patients. Acts as a role model, including therapeutic use of authority, confrontation, limit setting, and providing emotional support. Responsible for all documentation related to the New Choice program.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or a related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of one year experience in chemical dependency, education, and group facilitation preferred.
