Qualifications

  • Expérience d'un an en soins de santé comportementale requise ou préférée.

  • Certification ou experience en tant que MHT, PCT, CNA ou dans un rôle connexe.

Job description

**Mental Health Technician – Behavioral Health**

**Work location:** Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75231

**Work hours:** Fulltime, Nights; 7:00p – 7:00a

**Behavioral Health Department highlights:**

  • Busy outpatient clinic with Partial Hospital Programs and Intensive Out-Patient Program serving adults with co-occurring behavioral health and chemical dependency needs.

**Here’s What You Need:**

  • High School Diploma and 1 year of experience, or
  • 1 year of inpatient experience in behavioral health as a MHT, PCT, CNA, or related role (highly preferred), or
  • High School Diploma and CNA certification, or
  • Associate’s degree in healthcare (required), with Bachelor’s preferred.

Additional requirements include compliance with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency.

**What You Will Do:**

  • Assist with and coordinate patient care.
  • Support all patient care activities by the multidisciplinary team.
  • Encourage and instruct team members.
  • Greet and orient patients, review safety procedures, and coordinate with nursing staff.
  • Prepare patients for discharge or transfer, including belongings management.
