We are offering the Mental Health Technician position a $500 sign-on bonus for new employees.

What You Will Do

The Mental Health Technician is a non-exempt position responsible for the well-being of all clients at the Level II Residential Treatment Facilities.

  • Maintain an ongoing awareness of clients’ whereabouts and maintain wellness and accountability reports.
  • Monitor and record all medications taken by clients.
  • Must participate in treatment as needed.
  • Using a trauma-informed approach will be a positive role model for the development of socialization and other skills for all residents.
  • Observe and assist clients at meals and snack times, especially noting those with diet restrictions or considerations.
  • Keep the supervisor informed of changes in the appearance or behavior of the clients, needed supplies, and any areas of concern.
  • Schedule, supervise, and assist as necessary with activities of daily living, doctor appointments, and outing/in-house activities.
  • Record behavior and interactions of the clients with staff and peers.

Available Shifts

  • 7:45 a.m. – 4:15 p.m.
  • 3:45 p.m. – 12:15 a.m.

What You Will Need

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Experience in a geriatric or mental health treatment setting is preferred.
  • Training and certification in Team, CPR/First Aid, and Basic Health.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with auto insurance coverage.
