What You Will Do
The Mental Health Technician is a non-exempt position responsible for the well-being of all clients at the Level II Residential Treatment Facilities.
- Maintain an ongoing awareness of clients’ whereabouts and maintain wellness and accountability reports.
- Monitor and record all medications taken by clients.
- Must participate in treatment as needed.
- Using a trauma-informed approach will be a positive role model for the development of socialization and other skills for all residents.
- Observe and assist clients at meals and snack times, especially noting those with diet restrictions or considerations.
- Keep the supervisor informed of changes in the appearance or behavior of the clients, needed supplies, and any areas of concern.
- Schedule, supervise, and assist as necessary with activities of daily living, doctor appointments, and outing/in-house activities.
- Record behavior and interactions of the clients with staff and peers.
Available Shifts
- 7:45 a.m. – 4:15 p.m.
- 3:45 p.m. – 12:15 a.m.

What You Will Need
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Experience in a geriatric or mental health treatment setting is preferred.
- Training and certification in Team, CPR/First Aid, and Basic Health.
- Must have a valid driver's license with auto insurance coverage.
