Responsibilities & Requirements
  • Perform vital services in caring for personal needs and providing comfort to patients and families.
  • Deliver services tailored to the age of the patient population.
  • Function as part of the treatment team, performing patient care and program duties.
  • Implement programs and manage the milieu.
  • Document patient care including observations, protection, and charting under RN supervision.
  • Create and maintain a therapeutic environment.
  • Follow hospital policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Work under supervision of a registered nurse.
  • Handle data entry and answer multi-line phone systems, including voicemail retrieval.
Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma with two or more years of post-high school education in behavioral health, psychology, sociology, nursing, or related fields.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Office experience.
  • At least 6 months in the behavioral health field.
