Responsibilities & Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Performs vital services in caring for personal needs and provision of comfort to patients and families.
  • Perform services in manners specific to the age of the patient population.
  • Functions as a member of the treatment team and performs specific patient care and program duties.
  • Responsibility for program implementation and milieu management.
  • Documents and records patient care including observation, protection, and charting provisions of personal care according to direction of registered nurse.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining a therapeutic environment for patients.
  • Work is performed in accordance with established program documents, policies, procedures, rules, and regulations of the hospital and department.
  • Works under supervision of a registered nurse.
  • Data entry skills.
  • Answering multiple phone system and retrieving voicemails.

Requirements:

  • High school graduate with two or more years of post-high school education, majoring in behavioral health, psychology, sociology, nursing, or other psychiatric/medical related program.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree.
  • Office experience.
  • 6+ months in the behavioral health field.
