Job summary

Houston Methodist is seeking a Mental Health Technician/Assistant (MHT/Asst) to support patient care under the guidance of a registered nurse. You will perform treatments, record data, and report observations while managing multiple priorities and potentially traveling for home visits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• CNA/CMA or Nursing Assistant experience preferred.
• Crisis intervention training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform ADLs and record diagnostic measurements under RN supervision.
• Report observations and patient problems to the nurse.
• Maintain and update unit and patient records and clerical duties.
• Serve as Preceptor for new department staff.
