Job summary

SpectraCare in Midland City, AL is hiring for a full-time residential support role at a Co-Occurring Group Home. The schedule features 12-hour shifts from 7am to 7pm across two-week cycles, totaling 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities include daily living support, meal prep, transportation, documentation, and medication assistance under supervision. Qualifications include HS Diploma/GED, 21+ years old with a valid MVR, CPR and MAC certs upon hire, and background/drug screening requirements.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 21+ with a good MVR and able to pass a background check.
• Pre-employment drug screen required.
• CPR and MAC certification must be obtained upon hire.
• Experience in mental health or substance abuse care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meal preparation and facility cleaning to meet consumer needs.
• Teach group and individual basic living skills.
• Provide transportation using the program vehicle when required.
• Ensure efficient operation of the facility.
• Assist with medication under nurse supervision (MAC).
• Complete required documentation in the electronic health record system.

This is a full time, 40 hour/week position working a standard schedule at Co-Occurring Group Home.

12 HOUR PITMAN SCHEDULE 7AM-7PM

WEEK I: MONDAY, THURSDAY, FRIDAY

WEEK II: TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, SATURDAY, SUNDAY

Base Pay: $14.00/hr

Responsibilities:

• Various activities to meet consumer needs including, but not limited to: meal preparation, cleaning of the facility, assisting with daily tasks, etc.
• Teaching group and individual basic living skills
• Providing transportation using system vehicle when required by the program
• Ensure efficient operation of the facility
• Assisting with medication using the MAC certification under nurse supervision
• Completing required documentation using an electronic health record system

Requirements:

• HS Diploma/GED
• Must be 21 years or older, good MVR, and willing to submit to motor vehicle report check
• Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
• Must obtain CPR and MAC certification upon hire
• Prefer previous experience providing patient care in a mental health or substance abuse treatment environment
