Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year of health care experience or completed health care-related coursework.
• Must obtain and maintain a Tennessee For-Hire (F endorsement). Driving record must not prohibit insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with supervised group therapy, recreational and occupational therapy sessions.
• Escort clients to excursions, clinic visits, and appointments.
• Ensure continuous client monitoring and supervision during shifts.
• Assist new client orientation within 24 hours of arrival.
• Maintain client confidentiality and rights; intervene to enforce rules.
• Attend care conferences, staff meetings, and required trainings.
• Maintain professional conduct with clients, staff, and the public.
• Keep accurate records and required paperwork per agency standards.
• Assist in data collection and reporting to funding agencies.
• Provide handoffs and verbal reports at shift change.
