Job summary

Merakey is seeking a Mental Health Technician to provide counseling to individual clients, implement and monitor treatment, lead recreational groups, and support daily living activities. The role includes accompanying clients on community trips and ensuring health and safety while maintaining accurate records.

This 2nd shift position includes weekend work and pays $17.36 per hour, with a robust benefits package and access to learning resources through Merakey's programs.

Position Details

Our Mental Health Technicians provides counseling to individual clients, implements and monitors treatment of clients, and monitors individual and group social skills. Leads or co-leads recreational groups, assists, teaches, and monitors client's daily living activities. Accompany and monitors clients on community trips, engages clients in social and leisure activities, and assures the health and safety of the clients, and maintains accurate and adequate records.

Shift: 2nd shift with weekends

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• 1 Year of experience working in Mental/Behavioral Health
• Must have a valid driver's license
• High School Diploma or GED required
