About the Position:
The TCBH Nursing Department seeks a Mental Health Technician to provide non-professional direct care for behavioral health consumers in an inpatient setting. Responsibilities include participating in de-escalation activities, ensuring consumer safety, role modeling effective problem solving and decision-making, assisting with recreational and therapeutic activities, transporting residents to medical appointments, and ensuring scheduled programming is followed.

TCBH offers a supportive environment with integrated therapeutic interventions. Serves individuals 18+ in mental health crisis, with or without substance abuse. Transitioning to a new hospital in 2026, Oklahoma Psychiatric Care Center, in Tulsa.

Work Hours: 24/7 coverage required; hours and location may vary; overtime and weekend work possible.
