Job summary

CHI St. Vincent in Arkansas seeks a Mental Health Tech to support Behavioral Health’s front and back office operations, assisting psychiatrists, patients, and care management.

You will ensure smooth operations, manage medication processes, and uphold clinical problem-solving and confidentiality. Daily duties include basic triage, patient registration, insurance processing, and telephones, with additional tasks such as injections and precise EHR documentation.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED required at hire.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification within 30 days.
• Experience with EHR systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic medication triage and support services.

Job Summary And Responsibilities

As our Mental Health Tech, you will be vital support for Behavioral Health's front and back office functions, assisting psychiatrists, patients, and the care management team. You'll ensure smooth operations, quality medication management, and clinical problem-solving.

Every day you will provide basic medication triage, support services, and take vital signs for behavioral health patients. You'll manage front office reception, patient registration, insurance/copay processing, and telephones, while also handling back office tasks like refill requests, injections, and accurate EHR documentation.

To be successful, you need strong multitasking, meticulous attention to detail, and a rapid ability to learn complex information accurately. Exceptional customer service, calm under pressure, EHR proficiency, and strict confidentiality are essential, along with flexibility to float.

Job Requirements

• High School Graduate General Studies, upon hire or

• Basic Life Support - CPR, within 30 Days

Preferred
