Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference as a Mental Health Technician. You will provide compassionate, personalized care to support patients' recovery and well-being.

Responsibilities

1. Assess patient behavior and document observations during shifts.
2. Model and teach appropriate life skills to promote independence.
3. Escort patients and assist with daily activities as needed.
4. Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment.
5. Provide de-escalation and physical intervention if necessary (training provided).

Qualifications

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. 21 years of age or older.
3. Preferred: 1+ years of experience in healthcare, behavioral, or social services.
4. Background in psychology, human services, nursing, or social work is a plus.
5. Ability to work rotating shifts, including days, evenings, overnights, and weekends.
6. Physical ability to bend, stoop, lift, and assist with interventions.
