Job summary

Broward Health Imperial Point in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a Behavioral Health Assistant to support nursing staff in monitoring patients with emotional and behavioral needs. You will perform basic daily living tasks, assist with personal hygiene, and help patients participate in therapeutic activities while building therapeutic relationships and ensuring safety under the approved care plans.

Performs basic patient care tasks including assisting patients with personal hygiene and other regular daily living activities in accordance with nursing care plans. Establishes therapeutic relationships with patients and encourages their participation in recreational and other therapeutic activities.
