Job summary

Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale’s Behavioral Health department is seeking staff for Day shift, Pool/Per-Diem roles. The position requires a Master’s degree and licensure options in Mental Health Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Social Work, plus BLS.

A Level II background screen is required, and HR-004-026 outlines bonus exclusions. Candidates should have at least one year of experience and will join a team dedicated to high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Master of Social Work or related master’s degree required.
• Professional licensure as a Mental Health Counselor, Marriage & Family Therapist, or Social Worker preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Provides assessments, referrals, group therapy, critical incident interventions and case management that support optimal functioning and high-quality patient care.
• Works within Broward Health Behavioral Health to coordinate care and ensure patient safety.
• Completes required screenings and stays compliant with HR-004-026 policies.
