Job summary

Broward Health Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Telemetry/ECG Monitor Technician to support patient care on Shift 1. The position is a 0.9 FTE, full-time role focusing on continuous ECG monitoring and alerting clinical staff to rhythm changes.

Expect collaboration with nurses and physicians to ensure timely patient care. The role emphasizes accurate rhythm documentation, CCTV observation, and adherence to hospital telemetry protocols.

Qualifications

• Experience with ECG monitors and telemetry systems.
• Ability to observe and report changes in patient rhythm promptly.
• Documentation of cardiac rhythm observations.
• Knowledge of basic arrhythmia management principles.

Responsibilities

• Observe ECG monitors and CCTV, alert nurses/physicians to rhythm changes.
• Provide telemetry monitoring for assigned patients.
• Document cardiac rhythm and patient status accurately.
